JNLE: Fish Valley Fishing Trip

As promise to Darryl, I'll bring him to fishing once his SPM exam is over. And this time our destination is went to Semenyir Fish Valley, as I post in my 1st topic in this Blog. This is a pay pond consist of many type of fresh water fishes, surround by a nice natural landscape. After Darryl done his SPM, he immediately went to my house to overnight. At night, we prepared all the items we need to bring on next day such as the fishing equipments, camera, water and the most important one.... SUNBLOCK cream!!

We launched at 6.30am next day(Thursday) and have pork ball noodle as our breakfast. Then we continue head to Fish Valley. About 8.30am we arrived there. Set up all the equipments, make the "secret recipe" fish bait and start to fishing. We set three rods in this time and drop off the bait at left, middle and right side of the pond. Since my spot always disturbed by many small fishes, Darryl claim that he had choose the wrong spot and request to change the spot. He haven't finish talk and suddenly his reel..... "dring~dring~dringgGGGg~"(I faster go take camera), his line is being pull out as fast as GTR speed, he quickly took his rod and strike the fish. Due to huge area of this pond, the fish able to swim as far as away from our place in order to empty Darryl's line, lucky at last Darryl able to drag back the fish. However, bad luck to Darryl(maybe he is wearing the wrong boxer, LOL), his line became "bihun goreng" while the fish is getting near for landing and make the scene from rod fishing to hand line fishing, LOL~ My brother try to untie the knot but is too late.... Although it is a 20lb PowerPro braid line headline, the Pachu still able to wear and break off by using its sharp teeth. Fish is lost but I can feel that Darryl had enough "high" for this time.

We forced to change our strategic to handline fishing.

I put back the camera into my Jazz and return to my seat. This time is my turn to have the fish signal! From my experience, this is a big Pachu, she almost pull out all my line until I forced to use my hand to press on the spool to apply stress to the fish. Every time when the fish get near to us, she will squeeze out her 1000bhp and charge back to middle of the pond. Darryl and me get stunned every time this happen. Anyway, due to my light equipment and long period(more than half hour) of fighting, the fish at last also able to break off my line..... Sad....

Next fish is fall on my turn, it is a big, fast and stubborn fish!

LOL~ see Darryl face, every time the fish get near, she will charge back to mid of pond, we stunned....

Difference between Lancome UV expert Neuroshield(face) and cheapo sunblock cream(hand), now I become white face dark body already.....

I replace the bait and continue waiting for next fish. Gosh!! Again, the fish choose my rod, maybe I'm the lightest equipment among there and the fish try to bully me~ This time the fish is smaller than the previous one I lost. Anyway, she also took me about 20 minutes to land. Phew~ At least I'm not the cat for the trip, hehehehe~ We faster took some pictures and release the fish back into the pond. Then we continue our fishing. Maybe is getting near to afternoon, the fish became less active. Got few times bite to Darryl and my rod but fail to strike it. Eventually we just call it a day because the weather is too hot and all of us can't endure anymore......

Second fish I got, this time success to land her up ^_^
