Few Shoot Of My Blue Hippo~

Today I manage to squeeze out some time and went to TRA took some pictures of my Blue Hippo. When arrived there, due to the rain is quite heavy, I being forced to stay inside my Jazz, from my position, I can't really clearly see my GTR.

Thanks god, rain begin to stop after 20 minutes, I bring along my DSLR and walk toward the GTR, I wonder is this my Blue Hippo ? Why I said this, is because this car look so new! After I saw the GT wing, I realized this is my car! YEAH! I can't imagine such a nice and clean appearance after going through some re-touch and polish. Alex came out after that, told me that the TE37 rim, grill and "GTR" front badge had fixed. Due to this car just came back from re-touch, therefore the RAY's decal still haven't paste on the rim.

While talking to Alex, I take out my DSLR to capture few pictures. Too bad the rain start to fall again..... I can't able to take the engine bay picture, never mind..... Due to I'm gonna rush back shop for work, I'm not manage to take the Varis Impreza and Range Rover Super Charger version's pictures..... I told Alex, if this week the car is done, I'll not drive back home, maybe next week only free to get this car.

Here is some pictures of my Blue Hippo~

Call From Alex

This afternoon, I received call from Alex, he told me that my VS2's Veilside Rim has been replaced by VolkRacing TE37 Bronze rim, and will send for some re-touch and fully polish before hand over this car to me. This is a great news for me and I plan to go there(IF I CAN!) to take some picture before everything complete. He told me, possible this week can get this car complete done..... but.... I worry... this week I can't able to drive this car home because of busy on working. Hopefully I can squeeze out some time.

All Is Running Well.......

This afternoon went to TRA to sign another document which is document of exchange the previous owner name. I wonder why the traffic is so bad, maybe cause by many people having the open house now, it took me 1 hours plus to reach there(normally 20 minutes) Around 1pm I arrived there, I can't see my V-Spec II, she is not at the usual parking slot. After going through the signing section, I have been told by miss Teh that my car had send to JPJ for inspection, and she told me will get my car done as long as possible.

Thanks god. Hopefully all can run smooth within this period.

Great News!!

Last Friday morning, I have been told by Alex about he had received the duty letter from JPJ, and will send to bank on this week Monday. After few days, finally this morning I received call from Emily(bank consultant), told me the loan have been approved and can go to her office for signing the document.

In order to get my car earlier, I insist to make it as soon as possible. Nevertheless today I'm very busy but I still went to her office for signing at afternoon. And now what I need to do is just waiting Alex to call me to settle the remaining amount and change the number plate, wheel, grill and "GTR" badge for my V-Spec II. After come back from bank, I call Alex and he told me tomorrow will take my car to JPJ for inspection, follow by change everything that I needed then I can get my ride. Oh man, I can't describe how happy I got now. Wish no problem will occur during this time.*touch wood*

Around 7pm evening, I went to KLCC Kinokuniya to look for HyperREV GTR magazine volume 120. Compare to the volume 132 which I bought at Singapore Kinokuniya last few months, volume 120 have much more review and infomation for BNR34.

Content including GTR Review.

Demo car from different tuning house.

And the aftermarket parts of GTR.

Overall, I'm very happy now. Recall back the day of bid the S204, give out S204, change to GTR and now finally remaining few step then I can get what I need. Thanks god for give me the patient and my prayer has been answered.

Nissan Confirms GT-R R36 To Hit The Streets by 2013

According to the guys at PistonHeads, Nissan has reconfirmed its commitment to the GT-R development program with a model replacement cycle in place that should see an R36 hit the streets by 2013 at the latest.

Andy Palmer, VP of Nissan’s Global Product Planning spoke to Nissan engineers and support staff at the Nurburgring and spoke warmly of their achievements and reaffirmed Nissan’s commitment to the GT-R project.

“These are very hard times and, as you know, we have had to make cuts to many programmes,’ he told the team. ‘However, it is very important to Nissan that we remain able to offer a diverse range of vehicles from electric cars, to LCVs and the GT-R and we continue to fully support the work you are doing here.”

He later spoke to PistonHeads and confirmed that a model replacement program was still in place in spite of the economic downturn. Nissan’s model replacement program is based on a roughly similar timescale to the Porsche replacement cycle.

With the 911 GT2 being the car Nissan likes to benchmark, that puts a lifespan of 5-6 years on the current R35 - according to PistonHeads rudimentary maths.

Unsurprisingly, Andy also confirmed that the next-generation GT-R will be an evolution of the current platform, and will therefore retain the twin-turbocharged V6 and rear transaxle configuration.

“In that respect, it’s not going to be a massive one-off investment,” Palmer told PH. “It’s more a case of putting a bit of money into the program every year, to make sure we keep the GT-R where it needs to be.” And that we are guessing, is ahead of the Porsche GT2.

Rendering: 2011 Nissan GTR SpecM

With its debut right around the corner, Japanese car mags are busy speculating on the final look of the 2011 Nissan GTR SpecM. The new GTR, dubbed the “GentleMen Spec” is expected to make its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show where the first GTR production model made its debut back in 2007.

Prices of the SpecM are also being speculated. In the November issue of Japanese Car Top Magazine, the price of a fully option SpecM has been speculated to reach the US$220,000 mark!! That would include the full SpecV treatment including a hand stitched interior. Optional dry carbon parts are said to extend even further beyond what was seen from Nissan so far, and could include a full trunk lid replacement.

Colour options will also grow to include a number of new colours and could possibly include the dark red rendered here as well as a metallic yellow on the magazine’s cover above. Other rumours include the December 2009 orders/first deliveries seem to be confirmed. More on this as soon as we get more information.

Subaru Impreza WRX Sti A-Line

Sad to see this news. The new Subaru Impreza WRX Sti A-Line with 5 speed Automatic Transmission. WTF, I can't figure out why the Japanese set it as Auto transmission, some more the worst is 5 speed only! Anyway, I personal hope that the S205 will not be like this.

The latest Subaru Impreza Wrx Sti A-Line.......

However, there is something interesting about this car, the latest A-Line is designed with a carbon fibre roof which used to reduce the weight to lower the center of gravity for improved handling and performance. In addition, this model's interior has been dressed in a suede fabric that covers most parts of the cabin including the dashboard top and the Recaro bucket seats.

Featuring with the carbon fibre roof to enhance the handling.

I'll prefer the GRB's interior but the exterior.......(Hopefully ver.11 will be better)

The fabric dashboard makes me think of Lambo....

The new Subaru Impreza WRX STI A-Line Carbon is scheduled to go on sale in the Japanese market sometime after the show.
