1st Try Of Nikon D90

After finish the 8 hours fully recharge of the battery, finally I can used it this morning. I have encounter many problems since I'm a 100% DSLR virgin, especially how to choose a correct shutter speed and aperture figure. Wish soon or later can learn from my friends or maybe from you ^_^

By playing with D90 few hours later, I noticed that using a manually focus able to produce a better quality photo than using Auto focus, is it right? Correct me if I'm wrong. However, I have took a few photos at below, hope can get some comment from you guys.
