Finally, Subaru released the next generation of S204, its name as R205. Same as S204, this is a limited production but this time Subaru only  produce 400 units for R205, who will be the lucky owner??

STI to introduce the Subaru Impreza “R205″

Tokyo, January 7, 2010 – Subaru Tecnica International Inc. (STI)* is pleased to announce the launch of the Subaru Impreza “R205″, a special performance version. The model will go on sale today through Subaru dealerships in Japan.

Based on the Impreza WRX STI, the R205 enhanced the sheer driving performance it shares with former special performance models, such as the “S203″ and the “S204″, developed by STI. The R205 is the top performance model of the WRX STI. It features new and exclusive equipment and makes full use of specially designed features and performance parts of the “WRX STI spec C” model, the sporty performance model launched 2009. The “R” of R205 stands for “Road Sport”.

Most efforts focused on refining handling performance by adopting STI tuned dampers, coil springs, flexible type strut tower bar, flexible type lower arm stiffener of front suspension, and Bridgestone’s specially designed RE070 tyres. Thus the R205 ideally balances agile driving and confident driveability by enhancing a linear steering response and excellent road-holding capability. This is exactly the distinctive ride quality that STI is pursuing as its vehicle development theme, “strength and nimbleness” driving. The R205 offers enhanced total driving control not only in city driving on the road or winding road but also in sporty driving at the circuit.

In addition, STI carried out verification tests of selected performance parts of the R205 through the participation of the 2009 Nurburgring 24-hour race with an Impreza WRX STI. Making full use of this precious race-track experience at Nurburgring – in which any road condition is condensed – STI successfully completed the model in order to offer sheer excitement and unique driving feeling as a distinctive “Road Sport Model”.

The R205 delivers an increased 235kW (320PS) of maximum output, and 431N.m (44.0kg.m) by adopting the exclusively designed turbocharger with ball bearings for the turbine axle bearing, specially tuned ECU (Engine Control Unit), and the sport muffler with lowered back pressure exhaust. SI-DRIVE (SUBARU Intelligent Drive) is also available to neatly suit driving style in any driving situation at driver’s command.

The front under spoiler, newly developed rear under spoiler, and the black rear spoiler improve aerodynamics. Exclusively designed 18-inch alloy wheels, specially colored front grille and side STI garnish accentuate its uniqueness.

Next Operation Of Blue Hippo

According to the founder of Formula D, Adil, told me that my Blue Hippo only had 330whp and running lean during 4th gear, thus I'll decided to re-tune my Hippo's F Con V pro to solve the 4th gear problem and at the same time increase the horse power and torque because I can guarantee I'm the slowest GTR for sure!!!! I plan to make it at next week, hopefully everything go smooth.

In this case, I hope anyone who reading this post can give me some suggestion, I wonder how many Horse power and Torque is recommend to increase since I'm only used it for normal drive and maybe sometime semi-aggressive when midnight drive. By the way, I'm not 100% know what the previous owner had did(modification) to this car. As a freshly of GTR, I only know few things must be done before think of upgrade the car's HP, like change the fuel rail, injector, intake system, exhaust system, fuel regulator, clutch, brake and handling system, please correct me or notify me if I'm wrong, I'll be very appreciate for your information.

Not 100% but I still can list out few items that changed by previuos owner, I'm not to stated every single item brand's name here but just briefly go through what component has been changed to aftermarket item as below:

My mind told me that 400 to 450whp will be enough, is it OK?? And as above aftermarket items, can it withstand this horse power?? I don't want my car's parts end up with can't sustain this power and cause me to change everything at the time. My iPhone 3Gs Arrived

Refer back to my older post, here. It is finally arrived. This afternoon I received a message from Maxis and told me to collect my iPhone at KLCC Maxis Centre. I was so happy and can't wait any longer to get this gadget, I despite my work and straight head there to collect my iPhone. I was there at 5pm and you guys try to guess how long I get my turn to get this stuff...... I have been start waiting at 5pm+, until 9.45pm only get to my turn....

Formula D Garage

21-12-09(Monday), I success take 1 day leave from my work and decided to bring my Blue Hippo for body check. Because I want to be the 1st car serviced at Formula D, I leave my bed at 9am and just grab a piece of bread as my breakfast then straight away head to Formula D.

After I arrived there, both 2 main spirit of FD(Adil and Ah Meng)is not around, and the worker told me both of them will arrived within 1 hour, thus I go into their customer lounge to watch Batman while waiting them whereas my brother stay outside take pictures... The movie just finish not long ago, Adil arrived and come in ask me whats I gonna do to my car. I told him I just bought this car 2 months ago, so I need suggestion from him.

This is my first time service my car at Formula D- a huge power house garage.

Straight away, Adil call up few workers to prepared and 1st thing to do is to test my car performance by run the dyno test before choose which grade of oil is suitable to use. When I see the result, I feel a bit upset because the power is totally different from what the car dealer told me, my car is only 330whp(I have been told by car dealer said is 450whp) -_- He suggest me to re-tune the HKS Fcon V-pro and said can easily make my car reach 400+whp, but I not gonna do that. The reason I declined is because I haven't fully handle this car now, I worry it will be worst for me to handle if my car have higher HP. Maybe after I can fully get in used with current HP, then only plan for higher upgrade.

Since my car show 40000km travel distance, thus he suggest me to change the engine oil, gearbox and LSD oil. Within this operation period(Ah Meng arrived), I was hanging around with my brother Joe and take as much as their car pictures until my car was done. Due to this garage is located just beside the main road and some part of the road is under excavation for piping work, it cause my car covered full with dust(heartache to see this), thus after paid the bill, I faster head back home to bath my Blue hippo and just call it a day.
  

After know my car performance, Adil suggest me to do a medium service(engine, gearbox, LSD oil change) and few type of oil is suitable to use.
